• Where is Le Marintan Camping located?

The camping is located at the back of the hotel by the same name – 800 meters away from the village’s centre, restaurants, and shops.

• What type of clientele does frequent the camping?

It is a simple and humble 2 stars camping, ideal for sportsmen (skiers, hikers, cyclists, bikers).

• Is wi-fi available on the camping?

Wi-fi is available for free all around the camp site.

• Do you organize events in the camping?

We do not organize any events on the camp site.

• Do you have a bar?

Yes, we do have a bar located in the hotel. It is open during reception hours.

• Is breakfast available?

Yes, if you book it the day before, breakfast is available at the hotel for an extra fee.

• Do you have a garage for bikes and motorbikes?

Yes, a garage is at your disposal for bikes and motorbikes (NB: sidecars are too wide to enter the garage).

• How many sanitary facilities are located on the camp site?

2 toilets and 2 showers are available for women and men each.

• How far are you from the Orelle resort?

Our camping is located 7 minutes away by car from Orelle where you can reach Val-Thorens by ski in minutes.

• How far are you from the Télégraphe and Galibier passes?

We are located 400m away from the start of the Télégraphe climb which takes you to the Galibier pass.

• Can we check-in on any given day of the week?

Yes, depending on availability.

• Are Chalets and mobile home equipped with TV?

Yes, all our rentals are equipped with TV.

• Can we choose our pitch in the camping?

You can make a request for a specific pitch in the commentary section during the booking process. However, we cannot guarantee availability, but we will do our best to make it happen. Pitch allocation depends on availability and your dates of stay. Overall, our camping is rather small, and pitches are all close to one another.

• Are pitches for tents, caravans, and motor home open during winter?

Naked pitches are only open from May to September included (dates may vary according to the weather).

• Can we set up our own private mobile home at your camp site?

Le Marintan camping is the sole owner of every rental and does not offer that kind of rental.

• Is there a convenience store in the camping?

No, but you will find a Carrefour supermarket 800m away from the camping, next to the train station. It is possible to get pastries and baguettes from the hotel if you order the day before.
